What could be more British than a boiled suet pudding? This style of dish has largely fallen out of favour in 21st-century cooking - they could be made sweet or savoury, for dessert or dinner, boiled or baked, and in Canada many of us are probably familiar with a 'Christmas Pudding.' Puddings might be a classic British dish, yet this recipe is distinctly Canadian in its use of cornmeal.
